It's a good bird.
It's a good bird.
When Armada, evo and AI debuted a limited edition ski, we never guessed that they would sell out in two days. We were waiting to share the inspiration and big ideas behind the collaboration which raised $15,750 to help young people safely experience the backcountry. Instead we can focus on what we do best.
We live and breathe mountain culture every day and work tirelessly to help others do the same. We guide trips, build huts, fund programs, and empower people affecting positive change in alpine communities, all while helping underserved groups get out and experience the raw beauty of the mountains for themselves. Our core mission is to foster authentic mountain experiences and amplify environmental awareness.
THE CANARY CLUB
AT ALPINE INITIATIVES, WE BELIEVE THAT MOUNTAINS ARE FOR EVERYONE.
The Canary Club focuses on connecting at-risk youth to the mountains. Offering instruction and guided backcountry trips, the programs are designed for each participant to gain altitude personally, be challenged, and be present with the mountains. The first Canary Club was carried out in 2019 and in subsequent years has grown to further support kids throughout Colorado's Vail Valley. With the help of the ski collaboration proceeds, we'll be able to expand to additional mountain communities in 2022. Our sincere thanks to evo, Armada and all of you for the support. Stay tuned as we'll auction off a couple of pairs of the canary edition ARV 116 JJ UL skis to keep it coming.
