Canary Club feature: Freeskier magazine
The Canary Club Colorado has been featured in the current backcountry edition of Freeskier and is now also available online!
Our Canary Clubs brings together passionate people to be a part of the mountains - whether it be a ski film premier, a ski sauvage, a symposium on sustainability and art, a backcountry course for at-risk youth, a banked slalom, an avalanche safety course, etc. If it involves the mountains, inspires, connects, lets us grow, we’re in.
We carried out our first Canary Club in spring of 2019. Starting small with Canary Clubs in a few well-known locations, this is a program that will hopefully grow as we find the right local partners in more communities. Alpine Initiatives aims to help facilitate and manage these programs for start to completion with the help of our network of industry partners, media outlets and professional ambassadors. We truly believe that one initiative begets another and that ultimately time spent in the mountains can have a strong impact on the outside world.
You can read all about the Initiative in the November edition of Freeskier, on sale at all good newsstands or click on the link to read it over at Freeskier.com
